We are thrilled to introduce the new EP 04 from the Lkemia label, a proudly Algerian production emerging from the innovative Algerian Techno Movement collective. This time, we bring you a captivating EP by the talented artist bX1, showcasing four original tracks. These unique compositions harmoniously blend the sounds of Algerian folklore with the mesmerizing rhythms of electronic music and Techno.

In this EP, bX1 skillfully explores traditional Algerian instruments, such as the bendir, which holds a central position in his work. He also draws inspiration from Algerian folklore rhythms to create an atypical, distinctly Algerian style at the crossroads of musical universes. The EP captivates with its repetitive and hypnotic style, reminiscent of North African trance music, whose goal is to transport the listener into a mesmerizing trance state.

The track titles, such as "3issawa", evoke the North African brotherhoods that practice this musical style and its fascinating rituals. The name "Gezana", meaning "witch" in english, is inspired by popular beliefs, myths, and stories that have shaped the artist's imagination since childhood. These universes are closely linked to Techno, and bX1 masterfully brings them together and highlights their connection.

To enhance this EP, we have collaborated with visual artist "Fouad", whose works beautifully reflect bX1's inspirations. The entire project has been exquisitely illustrated by our collective's graphic designer, "Yuki".
